Why Do I Read?
Reading has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I've always been a huge book nerd, getting in to passionate debates about novels with friends, buying up a whole series and delving into it's pages for hours on end. I read twilight in a day my 7th grade year. I don't even remember if I managed to eat and shower that day, it was just constant Bella and Edward. For me reading has always been an escape, when I am having a hard time dealing with the real world I switch to the worlds of the characters in my books. I sympathize with them, experience their journeys, I'm happy when they're happy and sad when they're sad. I like to think of myself as a very creative person as well, but for me getting my ideas and thoughts on paper has always been a little more challenging. So naturally, reading the words and stories that authors create has always been a way for me to appreciate their creativity. Reading isn't just a hobby for me, it's a passion, and I don't ever think I'll stop.
